T.E Message To Wearer / General Message

Purpose

Displays a message for a wearer, a department, or a customer-level target.

Valid for

Wearer, department, or customer messages.

What happens when the row is read

The row is recognised as a message mutation and the target type is taken from the function code.

Current business handling

Recognised, logged, and accepted as part of the file format, but no business change is applied in the current release.

Note

The old source document described this as a touch-screen message function. The current documentation keeps that interpretation.

Represents a reserved mutation code in the source stream.

The current interface keeps this code distinct from malformed input. The row is accepted as a recognised reserved mutation, logged, and does not change business state.
