Messages

Purpose: Displays a message for a wearer, a department, or a customer-level target.
Valid for: Wearer, department, or customer messages.
What happens when the row is read: The row is recognised as a message mutation and the target type is taken from the function code.
Current business handling: Recognised, logged, and accepted as part of the file format, but no business change is applied in the current release.
Note: The old source document described this as a touch-screen message function. The current documentation keeps that interpretation.
